Electrical Safe Practices
Training
Electrical safety training including arc flash and arc blast
awareness training is not only a good idea, it's
the law. OSHA 29CFR1910.332
requires training for all employees who experience a heightened risk of
electrical exposure on the job. Failure to comply can not only result
in fines and penalties leveled at your company by Osha but very severe
injuries and possibly even death to personnel. Our online training tool can help.
Our safety trainer is designed around Osha Regulations
29CFR1910 subpart S, and the NFPA 70E
Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace. It is updated regularly to reflect changes to the code as they occur. The latest version of the N.F.P.A. 70E is the 2015 Edition. Our arc flash awareness training exercise
strives to explain to the participant the history of arc flash as well as
the federal regulations that have been put in place to help ensure
worker safety. The trainer stresses the importance and the benefits of working safely as well as the
possible consequences of unsafe disregard of the OSHA regulations.
Whether you are an individual interested in arc flash or a skilled
maintenance or construction person that comes in contact with live electrical circuits
every day, this training can help you stay more aware of the dangers
associated with arc flash.
This arc flash course is designed to be completed in just under 3 hours
however our students can take as long as they like to complete the course.
